Christopher McAdams

Growing up, I loved being in the kitchen. It's always been my refuge. I would spend hours watching and helping my mother prepare meals. My education helped me understand the science of nutrition and metabolism and the importance of quality. This only deepened my appreciation for food and it's significance in our lives. Food is not only necessary for our health, but it's a symbol of our cultural identity. For me it's the smell of beef rouladen in the oven that means Christmas is here or the hissing sound of poblanos blistering over an open flame telling me we're having stuffed peppers for dinner. My ambition comes from my love for the simple beauty of food and what it represents on a personal level. Cooking should be intuitive, fun, and enriching, and I am driven to help share this appreciation with others in any way I can.
